Good Morning!

Having my blog out there for the last couple of weeks has been so humbling! God is showing me how much he is using it to encourage others but also grow me up in my confidence level of sharing with others boldly. I know this seems hard for some of you believe that I would be shy! :0 Last week my most cherished day was when I heard from a childhood friend who ordered the lighted bedroom slippers for her entire family! 🙂 They walked around their house (in the dark) during this holiday season of our Savior’s birth saying “we are the light of Jesus to a dark world”!! How awesome is that! Thanks Claudia!

I had some housekeeping things that I wanted to share as I have been trying to work out all the kinks with using the site of wordpress.

Many of you signed up (on the right side of the blog page) to subscribe whenever the blog is updated. Some of you have shared that you are still not getting the updates. My computer guy (Kevin) has figured that there are two issues causing this.

1 – when you subscribe you will sometimes get a confirmation email to make sure you really want to receive these updates. You have to respond to that email within a time frame to make the final step complete and start receiving the emails.

2 – Kevin found that his posts updates were going to his junk mail….how horrible! He said once he moved it into his inbox things were fine.

Please do share this blog with friends and family. If time would allow, I would love to share these thoughts with just 2-5 people over a cup of coffee each time I post especially since I just got this fan-dancy new coffee maker for Christmas! However, God has mentioned that he is wanting me to share it with many and do something bigger than I know with this blog. Can’t wait to see his results! So share away! Don’t be shy!

Also…Don’t be afraid to make comments on the post. It gives me huge feedback! I remember when I first commented on a blog – I got scared! haha! Then I realized how much it blessed that person by me responding with just a few short words. It also confirmed in my heart that the message was received and hopefully put into action on my part! I have seen where friends that have blogs have small give aways to encourage people to comment…might have to consider that!?
