This morning when I went on Gypsy Mama’s website I realized that God had set this one up for me! I love it when He does this.
Friday’s are the day that I reach out into the unknown and follow a blog that is pushing me to grow in different places with my writing. She throws out a topic and I write for 5 minutes…with no editing…pure writing. Today’s topic is BRAVE. Which is exactly what I am having to muster up to do this along with many other things in life! 🙂
GO….
During this week of me spending lots of time in my vegetable garden and spring cleaning the outside of my house…{hence the pollen that has invaded south Georgia}, I have found myself having long talks with Jesus about plans, ideas and hopes for our future. He has been real with me about many things. Real frank conversations this God of mine can have. I love it because He is such a gentleman in His approach!
When I became all frustrated with trying to put in all together in my thoughts. He started sending me scripture through things that I read, that I immediately began just jotting down on scrap pieces of paper at my desk. I want to share with you these verses because they speak so much of being Brave! Walking in Faith and facing the unknown with Bravery.
Deuteronomy 1:29-30
” Then I said to you, “Do not be terrified, do not be afraid of them. The Lord your God , who is going before you, will fight for you, as He did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes.”
——————————————-
Joshua 10:8 “Do not be afraid of them,” the LORD said to Joshua, “for I have given you victory over them. Not a single one of them will be able to stand up to you.”
——————————————-
Psalm 27:1 “The Lord is my Light and my Salvation – whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid?”
——————————————-
Isaiah 41:3 ” For I am the Lord, your God, who take hold of your right hand and says to you. Do not fear, I will help you.”
——————————————-
2 Corinthians 9:8 ” God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
——————————————-
Romans 8:25 “But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.”
——————————————-
These are the reasons I am BRAVER today than I was last week. God is my guide and my answer. He always answers my prayers when I seek Him wholeheartedly. Being brave is first beginning with jumping into His arms and allowing Him to help.
Here is a video that has stuck with me all week – I have been on my knees – (literally) that I have seen the face of Jesus in learning to be BRAVE!
STOP…
Here’s another couple of good ones:
2nd Chronicles 20:15b, & 17. Good story.
Thanks Mom! These are great!
