This morning I am having worship with an Almighty God in my seat here at my computer! God is so amazing how he provides just the right encouragement at the most appropriate time when we ASK for it. And by the way, I did ask for it! 🙂
Here is a song that I can play over and over and still not get tired of it! It speaks VOLUMES to me and what my heart sings recently! If you would please watch the video first then come back and see my discussions on BELOVED. These scriptures I will show you how God wants us to believe this message that we are His Beloved!
{If you are reading this from email or a reader then you will need to go HERE to see the video.}
The definition of Beloved is a person that is dearly loved. “Dearly” being the word that stands out to me. It gets my heart back on track.
I know there are many days that we don’t feel like we are dearly loved, but we are.
Jesus Christ loves us dearly!
Sit on that one for a bit. Let it soak in to the bottom of your toes!
We are Dearly loved by an all-knowing, all-compassionate God.
Other words that describe Beloved are
Admired
Treasured
Precious
Cherished
That makes me giddy with excitement! Accepted by a loving God no matter how life looks or feels on any certain day – I can come back to this simple fact every time and know that My God treasures me!
Here are some scriptures to back up this simple teaching that I am currently in a season of learning.
2 Samuel 22:47 (The Message)Live, God! Blessing to my Rock, my towering Salvation-God! This God set things right for me and shut up the people who talked back. He rescued me from enemy anger. You pulled me from the grip of upstarts, You saved me from the bullies. That’s why I’m thanking you, God, all over the world. That’s why I’m singing songs that rhyme your name. God’s king takes the trophy; God’s chosen is beloved. I mean David and all his children— always.
Romans 9:20
I’ll call nobodies and make them somebodies; I’ll call the unloved and make them beloved. In the place where they yelled out, “You’re nobody!” they’re calling you “God’s living children.” Isaiah maintained this same emphasis: If each grain of sand on the seashore were numbered and the sum labeled “chosen of God,” They’d be numbers still, not names; salvation comes by personal selection. God doesn’t count us; he calls us by name.
Ephesians 1:3
How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! He’s the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in him. Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son
May you know today that you are HIS BELOVED!

What a great picture of God’s grace and blessings. Here is praying that all those grandchildren marry strong men of God and raise more strong women (and a few men) of God. EWD
Isn’t that picture fabulous! Thank you also for the prayers for all those ladies and the Godly men God will bring their way one day! Not sure how they will make it past the front door though… Blessings to you!
