I Refuse

Josh Wilson has produced a song that has unpacked some things that I have been feeling for several months recently. I have heard the song several times in the last few weeks and finally I went to google it and found his video with it.

The words from this song are very clearly heard so I have decided to not elaborate on them.

God has been taking me to a place where I refuse to stand by and allow things to happen without me being used for Christ.

~ ” I don’t want to say any more empty prayers.”
~ ” I don’t want to sit around and wait for God to do what he has told me to do myself.”
~ “I could choose to not to move but I refuse!”
~ “I don’t want to live like I don’t care.”

Turn up your speakers because this one is worth rocking out to! 🙂

I pray it rocks your socks off on this Tuesday morning! Let me know how this song sits with you! I would love to hear your comments!

  1. Just letting you know that i read your blog too. My wife doesn’t get all the good stuff to herself.

Thought it was interesting as me and Cam were studying last night and 1Cor 9:26-27 became part of our discussion. Then your words about not sitting around waiting on God to do what He has clearly told you to do.

Therefore i do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after i have preached to others, i myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

Romans 12:13 Contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality

I think God has authored a plan for our lives.

  2. ..and why can’t I have ALL the good stuff…ha,ha,ha. Might I add..in Romans 11:29 it states “for God’s gifts and HIS call are irrevocable.” To define irrevocable: cannot be recalled, undone or altered. I don’t really think it’s up for discussion…do you? LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your blog…and YOU!
