A friend of mine wrote this prayer and it has had lots of meaning and depth during many times in my life. It sits right on my desk. God wanted me to share this today.
“Father, you see my innermost being
right here and right now.
You know what lies ahead for me
though I cannot yet see.
All I can do is trust you
as I draw near to you.
Provide the strength I need
as I face the unknown.
You’ll love me and comfort me
if I allow you to.
Help me to have the faith
I need this very hour,
And give you the glory
for whatever results.
You want the best for me
because you love me!
You know how to accomplish
your best in me.
Help me to realize that
our ways may not be the same!”
